There are many elements to be praised in this unique movie: fantastic (actual and metaphorical) usage of the confined space of the appartment, absolutely brilliant performance of Denise Fraga (actress mostly identified with comedy but with an amazing dramitc role here), deep development of the characters, sophisticated drama script with elements of psychological drama, two quite dramatic plot twists and a meaningful ending which is open to different interpretations about the nature of the Uruguayan character. A film about the military dictatorships, hard feelings and trauma, and, also, daily life in a building in São Paulo.
