I expected better from this TV movie. The film maker had already given us some good stuff, politic one, and I waited for something better. It takes place in Afghanistan, where french army has to fight the fierce Taliban rebels. One patrol is taken as prisoner and among them there is a female trooper. She recognizes one of the abductors, she knew him some years ago, in Paris, when he was a student.
From this, the superior officers, after her release, ask her to try dealing with the Afghan...
This film tries too much to tell us what to think. And I don't like this. Good characterization, but everything is predictable, and sometimes for the squeamish. I was a little bored with all this. I watched better film from France with such topics.
