Well this series took a pretty steep nosedive in episode two. Spending the latter half focused on the ambush of some guy, hurling accusations at him trying to get a reaction. Where is the doc supposed to go from here?

The first episode was fun recap of the events of the story of DB Cooper, but episode 2 was an unmitigated disaster. I made it thru half the episode before I had to turn it off. The "investigative team" appears to be completely bent on a specific man being DB Cooper without a shred of real evidence, other than the man has skydiving experience and is adventurous (so yeah.. he's clearly DB Cooper?). It's laugh out loud funny at times, particularly when the "suspects" sister points out DB Cooper has brown eyes and her brother does not. The investigative team retorts with "well in the right light it could look like he has brown eyes." The suspect has blue eyes. Or when the camera crew flat out bribes their suspect to just say he's DB Cooper.
And there are scenes, which for some reason they edited in a fake camcorder interface to the screen, so it has a time stamp and a battery life indicator, and screen brackets which are all clearly fake and edited in.
And of course no conspiracy would be complete without a CIA angle. They give you that too.
It's an episode where the investigative team ignores the inconvenient facts and stretches truths to fit their narrative. It's hard to imagine what Netflix was thinking when they bought this money grab. The investigative group appears to not be interested in evidence but rather just infatuated with the notoriety associated with solving DB Cooper case.

The search continues for the identity of D. B. Cooper, without any concrete evidence, it's all circumstantial.
After enjoying the first episode, I have to be honest, I was bored, this needed a few espresso shots to get through it. When you consider that this is such an iconic story, almost folklore, it's told in a way, that's somehow devoid of interest. Almost all of the points are a stretch, it's all supposition.
The guy chasing Rackstraw did seem to have an axe to grind, and of course there's the book...... If the guy is innocent, he's pretty much been hounded, are we ok with that?
On the plus side, some nice production values, and a few decent interviews, but I did not like nor appreciate the way Rackstraw was ambushed, tricked, and subjected to that interview.
