Finally, it gives us something.

Hannah and Billy think they've learned the identity of the mole within, but they fear that Kane's links to the suspect will compromise their efforts. Dubravka sends Hannah a discomforting message through flowers.

Finally, finally this second series manages to offer something for the viewer, series one did at least give us some degree of tension and suspense, sadly lacking in the first three episodes, finally we get some.

The cliffhanger that ends this episode is the first one that's actually worked, unexpected, well delivered, it made me want to tune in for the finale.

Issy Knopfler is the one that's stealing the show for me, and in this episode in particular, I thought she was excellent, Steve Toussaint and Priyanga Burford were also rather good I thought.

The best so far this series.

7/10.

A bit of acting at last

It took 4 episodes but finally had some acting.

Firstly when Hannah receives some flowers from the Mimica family and Bianca also joins in at one point stuck in her cell.

It's a big storyline for Billy but, again, it all seems so pedestrian with little in the way of action or excitement. This just seems so so-so and so be so much better.

Things are starting to unravel and hopefully it is leading to a quality to conclusion to a can easily be missed show and hopefully turning it into a mustn't be missed concluding episode.

Jovan looks likely to be the weak link into Hannah infiltrating the conclusion the series suggests.

Lazy writing

Warning: Spoilers
This episode starts promising after an elaborate scheme to get Christian safely back in the UK, having faith in police competence and Christins' new found capabilities to think and react accordingly. Then you can see it coming clear as day, the safe house has lost all meaning as does Billy's declaration of "not his first rodeo." Apparently all rational thought is lost on the supposed smart ones who wouldn't make use of the garage or bulletproof vests after leaving an attempted kidnapping.

We can only assume this lazy storyline can only lead to a foreseeable outcome which has turned an exciting show to a predictable waste of time.
