This felt a lot more like the Showtime comedy-dramas of the last 15 years moreso than a Chuck Lorre show, well, except for the bit with the grandmother.
But this was another fine episode. With this cast I am not expecting Veep quality, and nor will I get it, but it is a decent enough show to watch. It also will hopefully inspire me to take a look in the mirror at my own sports betting habits, but I doubt it.
Like I said in my review for the first episode, it feels a little bit one trick pony so I am not sure how much material there is around this concept, but so far so good. Enough drama around the murder/not murder to hold you over.
