Louie has the right amount of absurdity, comedy, awkwardness, drama, characters, and all the other elements that you can mesh together to create a brilliant show. It is funny! Whether sometimes the show gets dramatic or not, it's funny. Even if you're not laughing, there's comedy there.
There's this part in this episode where he talks about Kansas city and he seems quite intrigued/amused and laughing at what he's saying, yet, the hosts were just silent. And, this is how, sometimes, this show is met with.. Silence.. Lack of comprehension of that sort of comedy which he finds in things. And, I, on no basis of course, guess that he's doing it mainly for self-entertainment and for the sake of those few who can SEE the comedy in everything too (specially dramatic things).
I don't know.. I just loved this episode and I truly admire the whole show. That's basically it.
