The Machine gives the number of the financial analyst Henry L. Peck, a very discreet and low-profile man. Reese is not able to clone his phone and he finds that Henry is an intelligence analyst from NSA. He is framed with drugs in his apartment and loses his job. Soon Reese finds that Henry has asked many questions about The Machine and now the dark Powers That Be ordered a team to assassinate him. Meanwhile, in 2009, Nathan and Finch discuss the possibility that the Government abuses in the use of The Machine, and Nathan believes it is necessary to have a backdoor in the equipment, but Finch does not agree.
"No Good Deed" is an episode of "Person of Interest" where we see the concerns of Nathan with the use of the Government of such powerful tool of monitoring people. Henry Peck is an annoying character with his insistence in questioning about The Machine, despite the advises of Reese and the attempts of a team to assassinate him. My vote is eight.
