So awesome

Warning: Spoilers
This show feels so effortlessly good. Which can only mean that so much of irk was put in it. Because why else would so few shiws achieve this level of quality.

The only thing I don't like is the daughter. Super annoying. Somehow walks through bad parts of town with zero problems. So naive but acting so tough. Then is so dumb to not get hints from her dad to listen. Even bad kids get those cues. It's been so long I can't remember who might be the mom. I get how she could be a rebellious kid if a cop. But also with zero street smarts????

And more if the villian being a great person to hate. But also killing so many people that you kind of root for him.

I want the whole season now!!!!

Slightly better than the first episode, but still very weak

This episode feels more like something complete and evokes associations with the original Justified. At least there is some kind of detective story. But every time you start to immerse yourself in the plot, you see what incompetent characters and how badly selected casts, and this, first of all, does not allow you to enjoy the series.

First of all, in this particular episode, you can see how badly Timothy Oliphant's daughter plays, it's clear that this is her first role, but she looks extremely unconvincing.

Secondly, I already mentioned this, of course, that Boyd Holbrook is an obvious miscast for the role of the main antagonist. Yes, we get it, he's a musician and that's part of his originality as a character? Music references? Seriously?

In short, better than the beginning, but still very, very weak and can not be compared with the original series. Why such a high rating? I have no idea, because anyone who has seen the original Justified will notice all the problems that I see.

Please do better

Warning: Spoilers
The massive flaw in this series is the character of Willa. It's not the actress's fault. It's a really dumb plot device - Willa brings all momentum in the show to a dead halt. The dad-daughter thing sucks energy from the plot and details the story line.

In this episode the cops plus Raylan are starting to get a sense of who they are dealing with in the judge's murder. But then we have a sideshow straight out of a bad novel when Mansell connects with Willa. Then we get to see Raylan lose his s--t and beat Mansell up. In real life, Raylan is on his way back to Florida or Willa is on an airplane. But this TV and, we'll likely have the kid around for the rest of the show.

Warning: Spoilers
I think some of the negative reviews of this show are people wanting nonstop shooting and senseless violence, but that is not what this show ever was, or what good programming should really be.

The pacing is quite deliberate here and while I have some reservations about the acting and writing, I think overall the product is solid.

I don't know if the bad guy Clement is entertaining enough. They're going for something dark and edgy but somewhat restrained, but it is just not top-notch left. Boyd Holbrook is a good actor so I have faith they will figure out the right balance and get things going though.
