Sex & Nudity

  • The main character, Yong Goo, is accused of murder and rape.
  • A prisoner in cell no. 7 has a poster of a naked lady on the wall. She is fully naked but her genitals are covered.

Violence & Gore

  • Lots of beating, and blood.
  • Yong Goo is an mentally ill innocent prisoner accused of murder and rape. He gets stabbed by stopping someone from fighting. He gets beat up by the prisoners, police, and the warden. (Very emotional)
  • There is one scene where an angry prisoner sets fire to the prison. He swears and spills gasoline. No one is hurt except Yong Goo and the warden.
  • The warden hits Yong Goo's head with a telephone several times.
  • A prisoner reads Yong Goo's crime record and beats him up (although he is very innocent)
  • Yong Goo is caught leaving his daughter in prison, and he gets beat up in the rain.

Profanity

  • If it is translated into english, there are about 2 f**ks, 10 damns, 5 craps, and 9 dumbass, and 12 bastard

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One of the prisoners ask Yong Goo if he smokes cigarettes. Yong Goo says no.
  • The prisoners play a game kind of like "gambling," and it requires cigarettes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a scene where a prisoner sets fire to the prison. He yells and spills gasoline all over the place. This scene may scare little children.
  • The only main intense scenes are when Yong Goo gets beat up by people.
  • This movie is EXTREMELY emotional, especially the last 5 minutes of the movie. (If you are sensitive to sad movies, you will definitely cry in this one)
