Lots of Action!
Hitchcoc30 July 2018
This is probably the most satisfying of all the episodes. Still, there are numerous mistakes and examples of carelessness. Joey is at the center of everything. It's hard to imagine what a mess this kid will be going forward. More bodies fill the stage and it makes one wonder how the boss can get anywhere now. Joe has "had a bad day." But his minions, like a bunch of zombies from "Dawn of the Dead," seem to rise up every time we think they are done. Of course, as usual, Ryan and the gang are horribly careless.

Revival
khagedoorn18 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
For all the people/critics(including myself) that were complaining about the lack of story development regarding the last episodes, I think it's save to say that this episode (re-)made up my/our minds. It was thrilling from the first till the last minute and (in my opinion) it was one of the best episodes so far. The plot took an interesting twist as well, with Roderick and Claire playing a big part. I personally am more a fan of the 'good guys' in general, and consequently I was very pleased to see that Ryan Hardy and the FBI are finally booking progress and starting to be on firm ground. I do have to add that the amount of violence was in this episode quite high as well, with more and more close-combat situations.

I really can not wait to see next week's episode and I hope it will be just as entertaining as this one!

Beginning of the End ****
edwagreen15 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
As in all these type of stories, it's like the Roman Empire. The end begins when the structure within the group begins to fall apart. This is exactly what's happening to Joe Carroll's band of utter lunatics.

Even Jacob has a normal moment and allows Joey his freedom. Wonder how Joe will take to that. After all, Joe had commanded Jacob to get the boy back.

Roderick is discovered by the FBI for who he really is and we knew that the Joe Gang would finish him off.

The big surprise of the evening was when Claire Matthews wanted to make a deal with Joe. What a deal that ultimately was. Joe himself kept saying that he had a bad day.

Jacob has a premonition that the end is coming for both himself and Emma. I think this is quite obvious by now.

Best episode of the season... yet

Warning: Spoilers
On the last episode you saw Rodrick at the end working with the FBI and now at the very begging Weston recognizes Rodrick and now we have our episode. Rodrick has a fight with Joe so he escapes from the house and take Joey as a hostage, he kills two police officer to attract the attention of the FBI and to unravel his entire plan. On this first half I though it was going to be a filler episode for next week's episode, but I was incorrect. The Rodrick plot quickly unravels and he gets killed by Jacob (one of Joe's followers) and they go after Joey. Ryan Hardy and Weston have this battle against two followers and as soon as the kill them they went after Jacob who had Joey, Jacob leaves Joey to the FBI and runs away. At the last minutes of the episode is were you get to the highest points of the entire show, Claire starts kissing Joe but this was only because she wanted to get closer to him so she could stab him. As Joe is bleeding out he orders to men to take Claire upstairs, later on you see Joe still dripping some blood, call Ryan Hardy to say that Claire will be killed (probably next episode) and then you go to see a Follower that wanted to reveal all the secrets of Joe Carroll. Of course this was all a set up and she stabs Donovan on the eye. This episode had suspense, it was perfect, had great dialogue and incredible character development. This episode is the best one of the season, yet.

It took 13 episodes for ryan hardy to behave like jack bauer
instanthopper10 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Ryan engaged in a series of encounters with the incredibly resourceful serial killer Theo, who remained dangerous even after putting a bullet in his head. Their tumble into the falls allowed Ryan - resigned to his fate - to essentially wipe the slate clean, recognizing that he was doomed forever to be denied the comforts of home, much like his spiritual predecessor Jack Bauer, who suffered mightily to keep the rest of us safe and secure.
