And the man in the hat came back
jontryingteach20 June 2023
I would have given this a 9, maybe 10. But Siya and her stuff is boring and not worth the time nor effort. Who cares about anything to do with her. Didn't really click with her, especially not when she decided to join the team. I don't care about any stupid, pointless storyline associated with her.

Reddington is the best as always, as is Dembe. Growing to not find the others of the team quite as annoying as they were at times during the early parts of the season (so glad Elizabeth went).

Great episode making you question what you may or may not have seen. Interesting the way things worked out. Generally great episode if it wasn't for the Siya stuff.

Amazing episode

Warning: Spoilers
WOW!! I've seen soooooo many if not all The Blacklist episodes and they all in some way have been great, BUT, for my memory capacity this has to be the best episode I've ever seen...or can remember.

I thought I saw Reddington or at least his hat but not really his face. The thug who went into the store, I saw a revolver stuck in his waistband, but an automatic was shown to be the weapon. Where did Reddington go?

So much detail in this episode. This is my first review revealing all these details/spoilers I hope no one reads this and gets upset I revealed these details.

I've never really hated Reddington for the things he has done, but I have always felt a certain amount of sympathy/compassion for him, but I have always felt him to be an honorable guy. And it showed thru at the end of this episode.

NO spoiler here with the details of last scene.

Despite all the changes of actors in this show, NOT liking any of them, I am going to miss this show when it concludes. It will be time for bingeing this series.

Fantastic episode.

Nicely Orchestrated
Hitchcoc20 February 2024
First of all, I agree with the reviewers that point out how boring Malek is. The fact that she was adopted is of no concern for this series. What does it have to do with the significant events of this case. What is good is a robbery of a convenience store and the fact that Raymond just happened to be there. He is still the most wanted man in America so he can't be picked up, even for an interview. Pennabacker is always so worried about her superiors and rightfully so. The task force is once again facing its possible destruction. So what makes this work is the fine orchestration of the people in the store. It is a very satisfying episode with all the bases covered.
