Between podcasters, tour guides, gift shops, Tiktokers, and news channels all scratching desperately at the lake bed for their moment of fame and attention- they're all so scummy and gross. I sincerely hope every single one of these despicable people goes broke.
But worse yet, this nonsensical 'climate change' grift- STOP IT. This lake, Lake Mead, IS NOT receding due to drastic weather changes, nope. It's due to incredible mismanagement of water usage by CALIFORNIA. The amount of water this leech of a state sucks from this dammed area increases drastically every year, but this past two year period where they were trapped like rats in their homes, increased water usage tenfold. And oh wow, guess what? Lake Mead is back on the rise, after the lockdowns started subsiding. Last year in 2022, DUE TO DECREASES DOWNSTREAM IN DEMAND, the lake had risen back over three feet.
During the monsoons last rainy season in California, the reservoirs were overflowing, and guess what? Due to ridiculous mismanagement, not a single ounce was saved. When all that flooding occurred, they are so poorly managed that there was absolutely no way to retain any of the water because the state that sucks fistfuls of federal tax dollars for things like homelessness (over 1 billion for container housing that never happened) and the super super rail system that never happened (another few billion in tax dollars) all while people flee the state in droves, thereby driving down their tax base, so more federal taxes are needed to sustain that giant suckhole of money.
