There was a time called the 80s and it was fast , and it went buy to fast. Van Halen was the right band at the right time Girls, Party it was loud and it was a good time this documentary gives you that vibe and explores the political band stuff that you didn't see. David Lee Roth the toastmaster for the immoral majority. He was the best frontman loud blonde hair bottle of jack daniels in his hand and his "d+×÷" in the other Girls loved him and men wanted to be him he could put on a show. Eddie Van Halen raised the bar for guitar players in the eighties. It was now common if you started a band you needed a loud brash singer and you needed a very very good guitar player eddie van halen like.

I run the "Exclusively Van Halen" group on Facebook with 62,000 members and I see the conversations every day about Van Halen.
Fans want more every day!
There is so much information packed into this documentary. It's almost overwhelming, but if you are new to the world of Van Halen, this is a perfect start.
So far, the first 2 Episodes Center around the 1984 album and the US festival, which was almost a tour set for only one performance.
And this documentary was made by a fan for fans.
I was very impressed when I saw a preview of this last month.
Amazing job and I look forward to seeing more.

Great insight from a fan perspective

The first 2 episodes have been released and are amazing. I would think this was done professionally had I not known better. The details that were released about the band are some id never heard before, made me revisit my Van Halen discography and appreciate it like I was 16 again. This writer has some good insights and either an "in" with someone close to the band or is just as good an investigator as he is documentary writer. My understanding is that this is not his only documentary series. I highly recommend you watch this and enjoy it, then go look for his other works. You won't be disappointed.
