There were some good matches on paper here, but in the end nothing really ended up delivering.
Hikaru Shida might be the right person to try and get the women's division turned around and add some stability, but this did not need to be the main event. Two weeks in a row is overkill and it is clear Tony Khan is trying to push back on the image issues from LuFisto and others.
RVD should be a one-time thing for AEW and not a regular character, but we know how Tony Khan operates and I am sure that will be the case.
This was not a bad episode, but it was far from a good one either. Haven't had one of those in a long time.
