Razia a short drama yet every episode was captivating, highlight the appalling conditions girls and women face in a patriarchal culture which allows no room to challenge it! The mother weak to a point perpetuating this culture yet her son is the one who is of a poor character! The story telling was done with aplomb! I got goosebumps when in the final scene as Mahira prepares to leave on her bicycle and she is asked what her name is and she says 'Razia'! This drama outshines all those big expensive productions , and finally we get a strong female with resolve to be in control of her life, her passion, and her quest for independence! Loved it!🌹🌹🌹🌹

A huge shoutout to this piece of art. The portraying of the story of Razia has captivated our hearts. It is no doubt a misfortune that Pakistani dramas are not given much recognition world wide. This series, i have to say, is definitely a-lot better than many other vulgar, inappropriate shows available on Netflix. This is a good choice to watch if you're ready to explore Pakistani dramas🙌✨ In this story you'll witness how a girl who is considered to be unlucky as she is born as the first child of the family, that too as a daughter while the family was expecting to see a son. Although, having a daughter in today's era is not considered a taboo and in-fact many people cherish their daughters a-lot yet the lower middle class and the people who need their child (more likely their sons) to earn for them don't like the idea. This masterpiece representation of Pakistani drama deserves appreciation.
