No Nonsense Documentary
shellyovjones17 January 2024
This isn't a the typical hokey cable TV bigfoot show. Will Jevning and his crew offer a real insight into bigfoot research with their Oregon expedition. Evidence is discovered and explained with a critical eye. Along the way, we get interviews with bigfoot eyewitnesses, sound recordings of alleged bigfoot calls, film of evidence and descriptions of what was found. There aren't dramatized recreations like you see on Not Finding Bigfoot, or recounts of historical incidents like Ape Canyon. Anyone can watch Bigfoot Evidence Oregon, although I think it is aimed at a somewhat educated audience. This is not a bad thing; it's a fairly serious show. If you are tired of the cable TV fake stuff, give this a shot. Take a look at Will Jevning's related bigfoot books and podcast, too. Those should help a beginner get into the subject, and give more background info, stories and methodology methods to more serious bigfoot hunters.

Straightforward, genuine, research documentary
djnick-1397116 January 2024
Unlike most bigfoot documentaries, this one doesnt feature whooping and hollering "experts", rehashing of old videos, and attempts to link bigfoot to flying saucers and interdimensional portals. We do get an inside look at a real evidence gathering expedition, by long time researcher Will Jevning and some of his team. Evidence is both shown, and explained, and possible alternative explanations are discussed. Some basic knowledge of the subject might be helpful, and Jevning's Creek Devil podcast is a good primer for the movie. No drama, but no nonsense, either. For a first effort, in a difficult field, the movie is a great start. There are some good eyewitness accounts, audio and visual evidence, and some really nice scenery.

This film is for the sceptics. A Facts and evidence laid bare.

This is the first film of this subject matter that without the unnecessary drama where every snap of a twig or rustle of the trees is a Bigfoot. The cinematography was really raw, it being so draws the viewer into the landscape and brings the experience of being there. The approach of William and his team was calm and methodical even when some hair raising experiences were going on. The eye witnesses and commentary throughout was credible and the theories presented were well reasoned based on real evidence, half a century of research, and testimony from witnesses. If you're a believer or non believer, this is a gem that will leave you thinking perhaps there exists an unknown creature in the woods. Worth the watch.
