I live in Amish country . They are not how they were portrayed here . They are inhumane , non- empathetic people who are hypocritical. They have a way around their supposed "beliefs" so they can make as much money as they can by exploiting animals and their own children . These are facts not opinions.
They work their horses to the bone then dispose of them when they collapse from fatigue. I've witnessed an Amish man beating his horse when it was exhausted. I've seen them driving their horses down roads in 100 degree temperatures. Don't get me started on the puppy mills and how horrible they are . These tv producers for this show should be ashamed of themselves for showing such fiction .
