Warning: Spoilers
This episode introduces Barry Allen, The flash. He is introduced as an eager young man interested in forensic science for a purpose. He has playful banter with Oliver and sparks fly between him and Felicity. But, Barry Allen is here because after the events of the previous episode, the super soldier villain breaks into Queen Consolidated and steals something which is required to recreate what Oliver realizes immediately, the Mirakuru serum.

Meanwhile, Roy, Thea and Sin investigate the disappearance of Sin's friend. I liked how that plot tied back to the main plot in the end.

Looks like Moira is way tougher than she looks, since she takes care of Merlyn by telling the League of Assassins that he is alive. She proved once again that she will do anything for her family.

The flashbacks perfectly contribute to the present day storyline, since in the past, Oliver, Shado, Sara and Slade find the serum and give it to Slade to save his life.

The ending was full of twists and sets the stage for the next episode in a thrilling way.
