Loved this episode. It was full of character depth, weaving of plot lines and mystery. The twists, pace and red herrings were masterfully done.
Castle's humour is brilliant. The fight scenes were awesome. The Beckett / Castle dynamics were magic, especially the argument that culminated in the sameness discussion. The thematic repetition of boring was satisfying and a lovely touch.
The actress who played the heroine and saves the day had a great backstory too. Her acting was pretty good and I'm surprised I've not seen more of her in film and television. The villains were super cool.
Season 6 didn't always impress me, but this ninja one, I would recommend.
