Do not look up THE YEARNING on the internet....
guestar5714 November 2014
Stars: Robert Mukes,Arch Hall Jr.,Michael Wainwright,Meghan Chadeayne, Kaci Hansen,Tyler Gallant,Luke Church and Melanie Robel.

A Michael S. Rodriguez flick.

This flick seems like 90 minutes as a short film in a good way,It turns your insides out and says like a Roller Coaster – ' Had enough ?'.

Wanna say something about Luke Church,He of the James Dean look,You can act my friend and carry the plot thru some amazing costars who amp up the situation and leave you the victim.

We have some Iconic Scare-actors in this film,Robert Mukes is action figure or better yet Halloween costume worthy and Michael Wainwright is like a Michael Berryman son or some such,Bravo you two.

To see Arch Hall Jr. make this his comeback was inspiring and then Meghan Chadeayne comes in and steals absolutely every moment she is on screen,I 'double dog dare' you to take your eyes off her !

Cool horror short
Woodyanders2 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Arrogant itinerant businessman Mitchell Barnes (well played to the smarmy hilt by Luke Church) finds himself stranded in the middle of nowhere after his car gets a flat tire. Barnes' troubles are compounded when he winds up as the special guest of honor at a cannibal feast being held by the crazy locals. Writer/director Michael S. Rodriguez not only makes fine use of both the dingy'n'desolate isolated location and genuinely jolting stock footage (Barnes experiences some incredibly messed-up hallucinations after consuming a spiked drink), but also does an ace job of crafting a discomfiting off-center atmosphere that gradually builds to a very gruesome and nightmarish conclusion. Moreover, it's acted with gusto by a sturdy and enthusiastic cast: 60's cult cinema icon Arch Hall Jr. makes a welcome and triumphant comeback as deranged Vietnam veteran Pa Wicker, Michael Wainwright cuts an impressively imposing figure as the sinister Rev. Wicker, and gorgeous brunette knockout Meghan Chadeayne really gets a guy's blood boiling with her supremely sexy portrayal of seductive temptress Lana. Scott Geiter's solemn narration nicely evokes the opening credit crawl from the original '74 classic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." David Bailey's shadowy'n'stylized cinematography presents a wealth of strikingly freaky visuals. Luis Javier Obregon's flesh-crawling score further adds to the overall unsettling mood. Well worth a watch for aficionados of gory and intense fright fare.

A Total blast

This short film was so much fun to watch. I love the grainy, grind-house feel in indie films. Right away you get the feeling something terrible is about to happen. Sure, its a bit of a trope, but that's what makes it fun.

Luke Church did a great job and was more than believable. Melanie Robel was OK, but needs a lot of work before she's ready to move into bigger projects. I just didn't feel like she believed in her character.

Meghan Chadeayne was incredible. Though she has few lines, she does great as Lana Wicker. She's both seductive, yet creepy at the same time. I've seen her in other things and I think Ms. Chadeayne quite talented, but often gets dismissed just because she is so stunning. Yet she has a natural talent that shines through her character.

Robert Mukes is absolutely horrifying in this film. Besides is monstrous size, the makeup on him was stuff of nightmares.

Michael Wainwright was also creepy as hell, in a good way. He reminded me a bit of Chop Top from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 for some reason.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable film. The gore was realistic and there was plenty of it for a short film, acting was excellent and just all around well done. I hope to see this made into a feature.

Another awesome horror short from Michael S. Rodriguez
jason-hough014 December 2014
Michael nails it out of the park with Lamb Feed. I thoroughly enjoyed this horror short starring the very talented Robert Mukes, the beautiful Meghan Chadeayne, and many other horror icons.

Mr. Rodriguez re-imagined the twisted cannibalistic family in this film, by wrapping it around an annual party ending in pure horror fashion. The acting talent, the camera work, the editing, makeup effects were all top notch!

Robert's menacing stance as The Butcher and Meghan's alluring nature as Lana Wicker sold the film for me. So if you enjoy Texas Chainsawesque horror films as I do, then you will for sure love being a part of The Lamb Feed….Check it out!!!

My full review will be coming soon...

Nice job guys! -Jason
