fantastic episode
Jwgrant10010 June 2014
this season finished with a BOOM!!! great episode. I didn't really like the idea of the ghost killer until this episode it blew my mind. I was on the tip of my seat the entire show. I love the idea of a conspiracy. But I hated the idea of Booth being arrested at the end leaving a huge cliff hanger. this ending will keep me up at night trying to think of a theory on what will happen.I think bones will do anything in her power to get him out of this situation. I don't know how she will do it but I can't wait until the next season. ****** ******* ******* ****** ********* I loved this episode I hope their will be more like this in the future

Nicely Sets Things Up to Go On
Hitchcoc3 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
We have had this episode set up for some time. The big boys are colluding and establishing more and more power. It obviously starts at the top. Booth knows it and knows, in his heart, he doesn't have that much power. He confronts that squad and nearly dies. Brennan saves his life. Soon, all those he trusted move in and put him in cuffs. They say the guys he killed were FBI agents who were merely serving him with papers. Of course, they didn't knock. The used explosives to blow in the door. But we don't know where the evidence ended up. Who has access to all the proof that will bring the bad guys down? This was an action packed episode. I notice one guy gave it a one rating. Please. Fortunately, the non-reviewing public made it the highest rated show in the series.

Aliens In A Spaceship? I don't know her.

While the above mentioned episode from season 2 is great and a fan favorite, this episode is my favorite of the entire series.

I mean, who doesn't love explosions, corruption from on high and computer chip nipple rings?

:) Emily's range and ability as an actor is really showcased here, and David is giving serious season 2 Angel vibes, and I'm here for all of it.

That's not to say this episode doesn't have its issues...some elements of the story are annoyingly predictable. However, what the writers lacked in originality on some fronts, they completely made up for in other areas by creating an episode where the narrative was interesting & visually compelling.

The Ghost Killer arc is...meh. But what it eventually culminates into between this episode and Season 10 episode 1, turns out to be a riveting and pivotal story arc for the entire series.

Its getting insane Warning: Spoilers
I understand we now have to take a different route out of serial killers after catchinf the ghost killer but how and why are the fbi turning against two of the smartest and well kept characters of the entire show? This to me is ridicukous as booth is always a by the book fbi agent da nd bones is unemotional but somehow breaks down at seeley being arrested in his hospital bed? No i dont believe this is good writing. She wouldnt have made a scene like that. Its absurd. But i am glad its stil got my attention. Because honestly everyone wants to see seeleys name cleared.

Very, very exciting.....

Warning: Spoilers
This is a very good and exciting episode. As cam be seen by the date. It's 2022..and Bones is still a fun, great series. I've watched the entire series several times now and allow that the writers took great poetic license with some facts for the sake of giving us wonderful entertainment. Fine by me. Afterall it's not a documentary. ...Each time I see this epi though, I am always left wishing they'd had Booth find the lovely home out in a less populated area. He and Bones have neighbors right across the driveway on each side of them and right across the street. .. In this show, they have multiple automatic weapons and explosives going off all over for several minutes and not sign one sign of police presence. No sounds of sirens approaching or screeching of cop cars stopping at the house. No cops showing up at the hospital with Booth and Brennan then surrounding her with questions as he's rushed to surgery. I like the show and appreciate that things would not have gone the way they did had the cops been there, so I look the other way. But it is logic defying that all the close neighbors heard/saw nothing while all of that action was happening. I do wish they had located them a little more outside of DC. There would have been a longer commute to work, but less of a pet peeve for me. :)

I completely understand Brennan's very emotional response at the hospital. She is a woman who loves her husband and family more than anything. And being pulled..away.. from her husband when he was at his most vulnerable (especially while having lies flung at her) made her feel scared, angry, and helpless. She may be a very logical and rational person, but she' not a robot. She took her mom's advice and has been working on releasing, a little at a time, some of that protective shell she'd wrapped herself in. This has certainly been demonstrated in her rationships with her beloved Booth and her dad.

Most unbelievable episode yet
kmwether12 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Even as a non-veteran, I know that 1) a strike team would come in silent, and leave quickly; 2) a trained Delta wouldnt peel off his bullet proof vest, even on fire, which wouldnt have caught on fire in the first place; 3) all that shooting, but no police arrive? 4) too many shots taken out of most of the magazines; 5) the merc with the jammed weapon would have a back up weapon - he wouldn't have messed with a jammed weapon that long with the 'target' still active 6) an FBI agent wouldn't be in gen pop; 7) if someone wanted Booth dead in jail, one of the other prisoners could have easily killed him quietly with a shiv. The whole episode is bunk.
