Mamai expels Foma for failing to modern realities. Foma comes up with a plan for the return: get a teacher in a school where a child learns Mamai, wriggle to the child's confidence and thus recover in the eyes of Mamai. Foma arranged fizruk, met with the class where a child learns Mamai and with teachers, immediately falling in love with Tanya - the homeroom teacher of the class.

Having unexpectedly become a friend of Slava, Foma is now forced to help him with preparing an offer for Tanya. His job is to distract her while a surprise is being prepared for her at the gym. But in the process of "distraction" Foma and Tanya gets closer, and now she is no longer so sure of her choice in favor of Slava.

At the grand premiere of the play, Foma is trying to effectively end the protracted confrontation between Goryzhnikov and the theater. Foma learns that serious forces are behind the problems of the theater, in the person of Deputy Mayor Goryzhnikov. He directly threatens Foma and his father. Foma accepts the challenge. Ernest's assistant Sofya is trying to help Foma. But he refuses her offer, because a bro is needed for such questions, and "a woman cannot be a bro." Instead, he recruits two small young businessmen, the brothers Sanya and Vitalik, into the team.

Foma finds the root of the conflict between the theater and the administration. Foma and Sofya goes to St. Petersburg, where a man is hiding who can help end this war amicably. But finding him is only half the battle. Arina, who found out that she became a prize in the brothers' competition, is greatly offended. Vitalik comes up with a perfect plan to make amends.

Foma lives alone in the forest. He accidentally learns that Yevgeniy Fomin, who he considered his father is actually a stepfather. Foma returns from his voluntary exile and finds a real father. It turns out to be Ernest Shilkovsky, the artistic director of the theater in a small town Zheleznogorsk. Acquaintance is extremely controversial and Foma is ready to return to his seclusion but finds out about the great injustice in relation to the theater and its inhabitants.
