Hilarious dark comedic spoof
tmmyban27 March 2015
This was a pleasant surprise. I've seen a lot of fan fiction, and this seems the most well done while retaining a unique character to itself, being about some band who sings about science fiction and sex. I love all the "cameo" appearances they wrote in for various Whovian villains. They even featured GenCon from Indianapolis in this film! It's a bit dry at times, but in a good way. Sometimes though it reminds me a little too much of the Archer kind of humor, which I never really was a big fan of. It does get a little raunchy though, so I wouldn't watch it with my five year old, but I would watch it with my fourteen year old nephew though, but then again there are a handful of real Doctor Who episodes that I would suggest against letting a little five year old watch. Some of the original music really works well into the piece, but unfortunately there isn't that much music going on during it even though it IS about a band. Overall, I give it 9 out of 10 for a (pretty sure it was low budget) independent piece that I randomly found on the internet.

Decent indy film

I saw this thing at a bar in Indiana, and it was worth the stay. Some of the audio was kinda iffy, but that could've been because of where I watched it. The music was good and all the running was hilarious. They're like Tom Cruise: they're always running from something.

They have some interesting vfx as well where it's just cheesy and campy enough to still fit in, especially the Dalek vision and the explosion, but that's all I can say about that, as we all know how the doctor is against spoilers.

Would I buy it though? I'm not sure I would. Maybe if it was in a 2 for $3 or 2 for $5 double feature sort of thing with another campy film. Would I watch it again? Yea, I would definitely would see it again.

Crude and campy
tjjourgesen30 April 2015
This one's a rather unique film. It capitalizes on some campy humor while pushing the enveloped on what kind of a camp. Last year at band camp? No, more like last year at space-robot-sex camp.

I loved the stream of consciousness that propels and intertwines all of the humor and jokes, huge stretches almost seeming like singular conversations in a web of independent film nuances that may possible look worthy enough for a silver screen.

Nerds rejoice, though, as this piece is chock-full, or should I say cock-full, of a plenitude of interplanetary references, even at the bra as they rattle off the nectars of various science fiction universes.
