This installment of "30 for 30" seems a lot like many others at the start. However, this story about the San Francisco Bay World Series turns out to be about far more than just sports when one of the games is halted due to a huge earthquake--one that flattened major portions of the city. What follows is very atypical for the shows, as in addition to interviews with various athletes, the program interviews a lot of non-players--folks who were affected by the earthquake and who didn't even attend the game. All this has a great way of putting everything into perspective, as several athletes pointed out that baseball is only a game and the quake was THE story. Some of the stories are sad and compelling--so you might want to have some Kleenex handy just in case. Very well made and worth seeing.
