In 1989, Ritchie Blackmore met a teenage rock fan on a football field. Few would have thought at that time she would have become his fourth wife; fewer would have thought such a marriage could last; no one, including Blackmore himself, could have foreseen the full fruits of that marriage, which include a new musical genre that has brought worldwide adulation to a man who was already a legendary guitarist, and critical acclaim to the lovely Candice.
Twenty-three years on from that serendipitous encounter, Ritchie and his now wife of 5 years put on this show in York.
