If you're a fan of AN American WEREWOLF IN London then you know the DVD and Blu-ray are loaded with some wonderful extras and this here is one of the best. This here was filmed back in 1980 during pre-production as David Naughton is in Rick Baker's make-up studio getting his hand put in a cast so that they can eventually do magic with it. If you've seen the movie then you'll certainly remember the transformation scene and how exactly happened with the hand. This 10-minute piece features Naughton, Baker, John Landis and other crew members getting the cast ready and it's really great getting to see this behind-the-scenes material. You certainly get a great idea of what it takes to pull off a stunt like this and it's really too bad we don't have more of these. There's also some kidding around by the crew when Naughton begins to get worried about his hand, which is a lot of fun.
