Powerful and Moving

This movie touched my heart in one simple way: the fact that I was raised by my grandparents. Though i didn't witness any senility in any of them, understanding that they were getting older while I was in their care and the effects of that made me sympathetic to the mom and daughter.

The acting was very natural and the story was deliberate which led to the emotion and pathos of the subject. Having the church be one of the themes to the story impacted me as well as a Christian.

I wish Ms. Bowman well in her endeavors. I believe she is on her way. The movie shows that.

Excellent

This short film succeeds on almost every level - from the cast selections and acting to the plot development to the well-chosen and well-timed musical selections that reach the core of the viewers' emotions. Ms. Bowman takes a difficult and often ignored subject - dementia - and combines it with cast who are often ignored in cinematography - African Americans, Asian Americans, and the elderly - to create a moving and compelling drama. The only downfall is the film's length; it leaves viewers eager to know more about what happens to the girl and her mother. I can't wait to see more from this blossoming filmmaker!
