Very good

The character writing and performances in this episode was, too me, especially well done-accurate to the characters while also dramatically compelling. The highlight of this episode is definitely the conflict between Ian and Lip. Very interesting, and also written realistically. It felt like two real people talking. Great work.

Wonderful

There are two highlights in this episode: Gus' song, and the scene between Fiona and Debbie where they talk about sisterly support.

There have been storylines in this show which are just plain silly, but this season has drawn in the reins to produce some of the best television ever. This episode exemplifies great writing, great acting, and just the right about of humour because life is never always drama.

There's a lot that happens in this ep. All of it takes a backseat to the two highlights mentioned previously. The song Gus performs for Fiona has me reliving the moment on YouTube, while the sisterly chat really drives home that not everything can be resolved neatly. Am looking forward to how this plays out... although I am aware that the cast, as well as the audience, felt a decline in quality around about this time.

Ian Gallagher a poetic moment

Midway in this episode Ian asked his brother Lip if he could stay in his dorm room. The scene is incredible. Cameron Monaghan had a poetic moment during this scene. Your heart goes out to this boy Ian. He tears your heart out. What an amazing actor. Hats off to Cameron Monaghan.

Beginning of the end
Zedyeti2 July 2021
This is around the point the show drops off. Characters become annoying and storylines seem lazy. Just wait you'll see, consider this a warning.
