Probably the best part of this Bullwinkle show episode . . .
tadpole-596-91825625 February 2024
. . . Episode--Season 2, Number 32--is called FAN CLUB #1. At one point, Rocket J. Squirrel suggests that each of the club's four members talk about their good deed for that day. Rocky himself pledges to be kind to animals. Bullwinkle says that he hopes this commitment includes moose. Boris Bad-Enough states that he'll only double-cross six people, rather than his usual daily quota of ten victims. When it's the moose's turn to mention a good deed, the scene shifts to a busy street corner, where the lumbering Master of Antlers scoops up an elderly woman and lugs her across the highway. As the purported beneficiary of Bullwinkle's help begins beating on him with her furled umbrella, she explains "I WASN'T trying to cross the street! I was waiting for my bus, which you just made me miss!!"

This episode includes a bittersweet and . . .

. . . poignant segment titled THE OWL AND THE WOLF. This part of The Bullwinkle Show begins with Junior once again losing his red-headed crush to Butch Croesus, the popular bully boy in his class. Junior had just squandered two months of his allowance buying Valentine's Day chocolates for the fickle red-headed gal. Always one to make orange juice when Life gives him lemons, Junior is depicting chowing down upon all of his undelivered gifts, thus transferring decades of future dental carries from the heartless wench to himself. Touchingly, Aesop Senior is pictured comforting his bereft son with a pat on the head and telling him a tale called "Time heals all wounds."

Peter Gets Gainful Employment
Hitchcoc3 March 2021
As Boris's efforts are continually squelched, the boys are still having trouble finding the magic bird. Until the Oogle Bird takes matters into her own nest. And Peter Peachfuzz gets to make a difference, due to his "Wrongway" monicker. Extra features are Aesop's fable of "The Fox and the Owl" where clocks are ticking everywhere. Peabody gets on board with Columbus. The flagship is the Santa Fe because Maria doesn't fit on the bow. Very weak effort.

King Bush-Wick the 33rd obviously . . .

. . . constitutes Product Placement by Big Tobacco, as he puffs, puffs and puffs away on multiple cigars during the Green Burnt Ogle Saga. How many wives have been done in by second-hand smoke during the decades following Green Burnt Ogle's release because it inspired their eventual weak-minded spouses to become hooked upon after-dinner White Owls or King Edwards? The peripheral smoke from Ben Hurs, Trinidad's, Cain's and 1881's is equally nefarious, and. Bolivar's, Oliva's and Black and Mild's all have driven innocent by-standers six feet under. This is akin to be flattened by a Diesel truck--or stogie.
