BLOODY MARY: POSSESSION is a junk short indie horror film that escaped from Illinois. The setting is a dark house where a woman invokes a love spell in order to secure her husband's attention, only to accidentally summon up an evil spirit that only brings death and destruction.
As with many indie horrors, the majority of this film's running time seems to involve the protagonist wandering endlessly around an empty house and occasionally sharing dialogue with her husband. It's neither atmospheric nor suspenseful, instead it just feels like padding which is always unnecessary particularly in a 20 minute-something short. However, things get even worse for the astonishingly bad climax, which involves a horrendous CGI smoke effect, ludicrous screaming, and awful staging. I felt actively embarrassed.
