After some weak/below average episodes, comes this one and it's surely the best episode of the season yet, if not the whole series. I finally laughed out loud, a few times, and of course most of the episode was shot in a single take, you just love to see that.

This was where I gave up

For the first two seasons, You're the Worst was sharp and funny. The first season was just snarky comedy, the second season took on serious issues, and it was all pretty brilliant.
That's why I pushed through so much of the third season, even though it's been a grim slog. When a show exhibits such brilliance, it's very hard to just let go. But I have been less and less eager to watch each episode, letting them sit for a long time on the DVR.
This was probably the best episode for a while. It was ingeniously filmed, had some good ideas, and was mildly funny. And it's really sad that I can that this is as good as it gets now.
So I give up.
