- Trivia"Supergirl is what I can do, Kara is who I am", this quote is a reference to "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman" (1993), Tempus Fugitive (1995): Clark: Lois, Superman is what I can do. Clark is who I am.
- GoofsWinn told Alex that the ship would enter light speed and be across the universe 20 seconds later, but it took Supergirl more than a minute from that time to stop the ship.
- Quotes
James Olsen: Lyra, how long have you been on Earth?
Lyra Strayd: A couple years. But I learned English off-world.
James Olsen: Your English is impressive. But I'm actually a lot more impressed how well you speak "Winn."

Abduction
This was definitely the Supergirl episode we needed. After a few mediocre outings, the show may very well be back on track. I think this episode, more than anything, showed how good the series can be when it utilizes everyone in an effective way. I certainly felt the entire ensemble's presence tonight.
The follow up to Jeremiah's betrayal turned out to be what I expected, the first step towards his redemption. It was going to be difficult for a lot of people to get behind having Dean Cain be a complicit villain to Brenda Strong's Lillian Luthor. So I wasn't shocked to see him lend a hand to Alex at the end, but I don't have a good feeling about his chances going forward. I would bet money on Jeremiah's death by the end of the season. Giving the Danvers' girls just the motivation they need to finish off Cadmus.
Cadmus spent the evening abducting all of the aliens registered, while Kara tried to take them out via her own blog. Yeah, I'm not sure how much I liked the fact that she was even a reporter in the first place. Can't the DEO just pay her? But I was getting some sort of enjoyment out of Snapper Carr's hatred for Kara. Should we expect Kara to get her job back as fast as Barry got his back as a forensic scientist this season? It seems likely.
Tonight's episode was actually more so an Alex episode than it was Kara's, and it worked better than expected. Chyler Leigh has come a long way since the first few episodes of the show, and some of her finest work to date was tonight. She handled the drama, the romance, and the action all so well. The latter of which was a major highlight overall this week. The raid on the bar, which took Lyra captive, featured seamless transitions between bullets and punches thrown from Alex, Maggie, Winn, and even Guardian. It got a little jump-cut heavy at first, but I certainly felt the weight of the moment.
This was a well-paced, acted, shot, and structured episode. In fact, it's one of favorites to date. Capped off with an emotionally impactful climax featuring Kara save all of the alien's lives aboard a ship. Keep this up, Supergirl.
