After finishing season 1 of you're the worst series yesterday, i am here. It was fun to watch it, now time for mystery and action :)

I watch series season by season. So, i will watch one season and then i will move to another series.

I chose that series because I am interested in mythology. Siren and song of the siren is close things for me. In Dota game, there is naga siren character also; its ulti is song of siren :)

I usually does not watch so recently series but here i am.

I hope i can enjoy.

ADD ON AFTER FINISHING EPISODE

Nice intro but it is strange noone knows about them. Maybe not young people. It seems they used some sea animals. It is bad to see it. Such as sea horses were screaming.

Great for a pilot episode

This episode was quite enjoyable, while the pacing for some scenes could have been better, for example interactions with Ryn (Eline Powell) are a little too dragged out, even understanding that the idea was that she isn't used to the situation. Still feels like they could have shortened some of the scenes by quite a few seconds. Aside from the pacing which is perfect for almost the entire episode, this was a very grasping episode. It also introduces what I believe to be some of the most interesting arcs of this series; the interactions between Xander and the mermaids, and the interactions between Ben(Alex Roe) and Ryn.

didn't expect this

Honestly i thought it would be boring cause i'm so use to watching Tv shows where there is a threat every season, but i was Taken from the get go with this one it gave me chills and it had quite a few creepy moments no doubt, her Make up is done so well and her bone structure is incredible i'm not gonna lie this series has potential i hope they introduce more mythical creatures like, witches etc..

Right off the bat, the writing's not great... Very straight to the point. Told of a mermaid attack, then see evidence of a different attack elsewhere from one, then drive along and almost run over a mermaid. Ben calls a doctor not assuming she'd bail when he goes to the door, he calls the doctor again assuming she wouldn't leave again the next time and does as well. Dude drives and pulls over with meek little girl and she kills him, couldn't be more stereotypical and generic. Though lead Alex Roe is suffice in the role. Not sure what the show has to offer, but it's not overly dull or anything.
