Deserves better than 8.1

I am rating this 9/10 because IASIP occasionally still comes back to its old original creativity and it's a pretty solid follow-up to the noir crime parody from the previous episode. A season that started out pretty poorly might be getting back on track more than the last few seasons ever got close to.

This was a really strong episode. The moment with the patrons charging the bar and taking the booze was childish and beneath this show, but that is one of the few complaints I have here.

Sweet Dee Shines

This episode was made for me by Sweet Dee, and the gag where she turns her charm on and off when the camera is on her for her social media feed. Kaitlin give a fantastic performance! And that worked really well as a send up of the performative nature of social media stars.

For me, the sort of parable that the episode created about global warming didn't really play just because everything that the writing had to say about the subject was pretty well-worn territory. And the amount of space that the script devoted to that probably took away from more opportunities for humor.

On the whole, the excellent performance from Kaitlin carried the episode to the extent that I would consider it a solid episode. It wasn't a great one. But it was good. But that Sweet Dee performance was so good that I wanted to write a review to call it out.

Charlie's tee-shirt , ''hidden'' joke hilarious

His yellow tee shirt has Ming's written on it and an Asian pagoda.

after they buy the ice and he does his DIY outfit to fight the heat he looks 200% like caracters in 80's Chinese kung fu movies, including his pizza box hat which looks 200% Asian.

in so many episodes there are some small hilarious hidden details hahaha

Really enjoyed watching this episode .. And guess what the Trash man is back in a whole new appearance.. Charlie is awesome. Hope this show goes on forever.

Pure CharDee Gold

When Dee and Charlie get together you know it's gonna be good. And they were Brilliant. The back and forth deliver can't get more on point. The only thing i disliked this episode was the over the top metaphor of people being animals, i get it that it was suppose to represent people's behavior during a crisis and some government trying to solve it, but it was too much. This has happened this season in the Zoo episode too, the extra joke of the boy telling Dennis it was amazing. Feels like they are including some unnecessary scenes. But everything else was so good, including the inside the bar segment, that the episode is gold anyways.

Perfectly captured the fatalism and faith hypocracies inside of the larger context of our global warming debacle. Hits on overpopulation, resource scarcity, pollution, eco-fashion, greed, and more!

Of course hilariously.

I hope some people learn something.

I did not like this episode im sorry it was very short and im not totally sure what it was about. it was hot and they tried to get ice but they didnt know how to do that and instagram stories are not a new thing im sorry. i liked charlies costume hence one star. im sorry actors and bird i didnt like it but every other episode i liked more than anyone else i love you

An entertaining and poignant Sunny ep in this otherwise a bit lackluster season

All parts were great, Charlie and Dee were funny as were the bar scenes. Also at first I thought this global warming theme will quickly become overplayed but I must say they did a very thorough and interesting analogy with the bar scene and also Dee's and Charlie's adventures. The lacking resources, overpop., the plastic, water, the hypocricy of everyone involved, be it those in charge or those selling "solutions" for significally marked up prices, etc etc... there were a lot of little gems and methaphores, Im sure I did not even notice all. Would call for a repeated viewing. But all in all, i missed a really funny ep like this from Sunny this season, up till now they just havent been cutting it as usual. Nice one!
