That this production succeeded outdoors is amazing. Anyone that has performed either theatrically or musically outdoors knows how difficult the lack of acoustic support can be. The open spaces were used well here: the freedom that large spaces provide makes coordination and awareness of timings very difficult, yet apart from occasional moments throughout this performance, the players performed very well. It is a shame that no number of camera angles can provide the depth that would have been felt by the audience in attendance, let alone capture the movement and atmosphere used across the space. To add to the issues with outdoors performances, this production obviously made it through some rather unhelpful weather conditions seemingly unscathed.
