I absolutely loved the manga of Hajimete no Gal and was therefore very excited that the anime released a couple of days ago. The first episode did not deviate from the main plot although all the female characters were immediately introduced, something that took quite some time in the manga.
Hajimete no Gal's first episode was very enjoyable and I liked the comedy. I don't think the anime will be better than the manga but who knows, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised? Overall I'd say that the first episode managed to show us what the show will be about, but please note that it won't be a complete pervert fest. There is a romance tag for a reason and it's actually very well written! If the first episode didn't really catch your eye I'd still advice you to keep watching since it'll get a lot better in future episodes!
