Disturbingly bad if anything

Warning: Spoilers
Here we got the music video for the song "Disturbia" by recording artist Rihanna, who was around the age of 20 when this was released back in 2008, so it is already almost 10 years old. I don't know how successful this one was, but if it did not bomb completely, which it most likely did not, then this says nothing good about the then and current(ly female-dominated) pop industry. Rihanna uses all kinds of make-up and costumes (usually pretty short and tight ones) to distract attention from how mediocre, or rather bad, this one is. What you hear is only minimally better than what you see, but both is really on failure territory. I may be a bit biased as I have always been critical on Rihanna, but she has numbers I like that are catchy such as Umbrella or Unfaithful. These slightly over 4 minutes here don't impress me at all in regards or production values or whatever perspective you are taking here. Also disappointed by prolific music video director and Rihanna listing herself as co-director here really says nothing positive about her work behind the camera either. Skip this one.
