In good measure, more than a song but a sort of Proust madlene, offering the return to the book , his adaptation, actors and the fascination of child, teenager and adult in each new encounter with the novel by Michael Ende.

In same measure, the breeze of 1980 decade , with its special, maybe just unique mix of innocence and teen air.

In short, the comfortable definition can be a beautiful song. Enough at the first sight, it can not reflect the soft nostalgia inspired by lyrics and by voices, by atmosphere- true refuge against new musical tends and the taste of a sort of dream .

So, Limahl and The NeverEnding Story.

It's quite funny because I love the song The NeverEnding Story, although I have yet to see the movie, but maybe I should, and this song played today in the rideshare that I was a passenger in, as the driver had the radio station with the song on the dial. Anyway, today is also Pi Day, and it's appropriate this song, The NeverEnding Story, is the one that is often played on Pi Day.

I love the upbeat lyrics and tune, and it can be the soundtrack of the 80s. It's hard to believe this song is 40 years old, wow, four decades, and it's timeless for sure, never ending in fact, and how appropriate it is.
