Beautiful story about ugly subjects.

Here is Where the Monsters Live is a beautiful piece about things many people think, feel and suffer. The average person will see that, but there are those that it will really hit home for. That's who really will appreciate it.

Telling a story like this, while walking the line between joy and sorrow is no easy feat. Chance Fuerstinger as Oliver pulls off this daunting task convincingly with his co star David Lathrop (Jake). The direction of Chance, along side April Matson, draws you into Ollie's world, and Chance shows you what it's like to live there.

More stories like this should make it to the screen. It shows people that they are not alone in what they go through. That what they experience every day is not only valid, but nothing to be ashamed of. That it's ok to be Human, because we all are.

Leave It to Chance Pictures proves that independent films are still as vibrant an art form as ever they were.
