Eddie is probably the most politically correct host anyone has ever seen! Shoot many times you see he leaves his counterpart speechless. Yeah he butchers the song. Have empathy. I dont see you trying to sing in front of a crowd when you are clearly out your confront zone. Those angry folks lack Appreciation and the effort of a fellow american trying his best and hearing him out! Just shouting over him , threatening him. Is that American? Kudos to Eddie putting his neck on the line to show boundaries and opening discussions. This episode is quite iconic for showing a two sides of America.

I have watched Huang's World in the past and I have enjoyed the show. The Cape Cod episode was so sadly disappointing. Eddie's rendition of God Bless America was awful with his laughing and general lack of serious effort. How hypocritical to want people to be sensitive to cultural or racial slights that you see as offensive but at the same time lacking in those efforts yourself. I was pissed watching that. You are better than the way you come across in that episode. At least I hope you are.
