Julie (Chelsea LeSage) is our title Demon Hunter or Huntress. She also is a bike courier in NYC. She hunts all kinds of demons for the agency. Julie is goth with a love of cocaine, alcohol, sex, killing, stealing and violence in general making her the idea demon hunter which also includes, werewolves, vampires, haunted dolls, and zombies. The demons are taken from ancient Babylon with some inkling of knowledge about their roles. It is blended with HP Lovecraft writings as if his writings were non-fictional.
Julie is in a role that appears perfect for the dark sexual humor of Aubrey Plaza who I though about the whole time. The dialogue was good. The camera work was horrible. The camera they used was not designed for nighttime photography and it didn't seem anyone cared. The sound was also off. This would have made for a top series with Plaza in the starring role, a modern soundtrack, and special effects that didn't look like they came out of "Foxfur."
