It felt like harith was telling his history, and there was barely a hint of comedy anywhere in this show.

Mind boggingly bad

When I was watching this I thought I must have had a stroke because I just couldn't comprehend how anyone could find this funny. Turns out I'm fine. Harith on the other hand not so much. I even watched till the end to see if I could manage a chuckle. I didn't.
Barely a chuckle.

Warning: Spoilers
The "World's Funniest Person" did not make me laugh. At all. I don't know what is it about "award-winning" people who tend to slide down the slippery slope of mediocrity as soon as they finish preening. In Harith's case, he still milked the opportunity to preen in his Netflix debut, unfunnily, and was persistently unfunny to the point of increasing my frown lines when he spoke of how his "hot" wife was a genuine doctor and not a quack. *Crickets*.
Then there was shouting. No, not from an excited audience member, but the "comedian" himself, who found it necessary to go up a few decibels to sound "funnier".
Look, it's supposed to be a stand-up comedy show. Why on earth did this guy choose to include a somewhat bland family story (he tried to inject some humour but failed) into the script I will never know. There was pin-drop silence in the hall, I suppose because the people, who paid money to laugh, didn't know whether to cry or attempt a guffaw.
I understand why some people dont like it

Its totally a malaysian culture comedy. If you are not malaysian. You will not be laughing because many of his joke are about malaysian culture. Yes, he won the "The funniest comedian in the World" but his audience for this show is Malaysian so he just doing malaysian joke. I watched James Acaster's comedy special & I dont laughing at all & I find it boring because I know he is just doing his british joke that I cannot related with. Sorry. As a malaysian, I like it.
Suitable for malay culture comedy

It is not that bad.

I am surprised this show does not have more good rating. I watched it and for me, it is really not that bad. Harith is a good storyteller. Energic, very engaging to his audience. Sometimes he totally jumps into totally different topic while telling his story, but it is very engaging. Making me curious to know the end of his story. It is like chatting with old friends.
But since his background is Malaysian guy, I totally understand if there are people whom can not understand about his jokes. I am Indonesian so I kinda get his jokes, because I know the references he is using in his bits. Maybe I did not laugh out loud watching this, but I still have some laughs here and there.
I definitely look forward to his next show.
