Better than most other LI stuff, but not particularly good to be honest

"I Just Had Sex" is a 3-minute music video by The Lonely Island (including Golden Globe winner Andy Samberg) and yeah like with all their other releases, it is much more about the comedy than about the singing. Still, this one has Akon, so the audible site is considerably better than most of their other stuff or lets say at least what I heard from them. Director is Emmy winner Akiva Schaffer as always by the way, so yeah the SNL force is strong with this one. Add to that Jessica Alba, gorgeous as always, and Blake Lively playing the sexual partners of the protagonists who are not too happy about the loud verbal statements by their significant others apparently. How did they score these stunning women anyway? Okay, never mind, this is from 2010 by the way, so the two ladies were probably still a bit bigger than they may be today. Oh yeah, for a tennis fan like me John McEnroe was in it too, but luckily his scenes are not too explicit. Just a quick fun cameo. Nonetheless, at the very core and the most essential of the film, I did not think it was rellay funny like the movements at the very end, how they are showing it to the whole town or earlier on the cake. It was at its best when we really did not see or hear any Lonely Island member. Says it all about their creative vision I guess. The supporting castg and cameos made this one somewhat watchable at times, but still I am glad it was over this quickly. The chorus alone just isn't enough for 200 seconds, even if it is somewhat catchy. Overall, a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
