The loss of mother for a teenager. His father down in alcoholism. His friend, interested by the succes of his sentimental life. And the conflict with dad, the new girl in classroom, a party and the booze of father as basic contribution, an ambiguous end. Not a great story, or , more precise, one not served very well, a not very inspired movie but all served by presence of Rudy Pankow. So, maybe, with indulcence, acceptable.
