Entertaining and Heartwarming !!

This inspiring story line was a well executed portrayal of how vital compassion and kindness are needed so that both people and animals can truly thrive - not just survive. Story line, actors and production were all great - didn't feel like a lower budget production, Disney, Hallmark or Touchstone couldn't have done a better job!

A Ten if You Want to Watch a Movie That Brightens Your Day
larryy-8209229 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a 4; If you want a gritty movie with plenty of greed, hate and violence.

Want an escape to a kinder world that still does exist, even in today's discouraging times. This is a good film to watch. It is a TEN

Bill Wetherill the man who lived on his own and kept to himself was about as real as could be. One of those guys that many have known and liked but maybe didn't get close to.

The Nanny Julie Van Lith; has a warmth and kindness that makes the film really shine. Talk about an inner beauty.

The rest of the cast plays their characters well. The Dad, plays a loving and caring father who wants the best for his son. The girlfriend, the young boy's mother, the young boy, the lonely guys mother and his girlfriend all played their parts well.

Some of my friends who watched this said the lonely grown man's mother over acted, but I'm thinking, a real fife mother of a grown man who is isolating himself and not enjoying life might be pretty similar.

Heartwarming cliche movie

It was ok. But oh so cliche. And honestly some of the actors over did their acting greatly and it appeared fake and annoying. Like the mother of the guy with the dog. Ugh.
