- A girl has a flashback of her and a boy kissing in the middle of the woods. Scene lasts 1-2 seconds. Nothing graphic is seen or heard.
Violence & Gore

- It's a TV-14 rated horror series. About as graphic and intense as Stranger Things. This same rating goes for almost all of the CryptTV shows.
- S1 E1: A girl sees 3 teens looking at a fourth dead teen that supposedly overdosed. The 3 teens tell the girl that if she blabs, they will hurt her father. Sounds worse then it actually is.
- Throughout the series, Lanie and Evie use The Birch to kill everyone that has wronged them. (Pretty much Carrie with a tree monster.) We never see any of these deaths. We only see tree vines wrap around the victims and then the screen cuts to black. Note that the series is TV-14. Not a single episode is TV-MA as of yet, so nothing graphic is shown.
- Much more graphic and disturbing than any other TV-14 series.
- A baby is poisoned.
- A woman is stabbed in the vagina by a vine, which aborts her unborn child.
- A person is thrown against a tree and is impaled upon a branch sticking out of it.
- A character is hit in the head with a lead pipe; blood splatters from his mouth. He is then hit numerous times with the same pipe, killing him.
- A character is stabbed in the head with a needle off-camera, causing blood to splatter onto another character.
- A teenager's dead body is seen, it is cut in half and impaled on a tree.
- A severed head is seen being thrown into a room. A character trips on it and falls.
- A character's jaw is ripped off.

- A major protagonist has a pillow put over his face and then is shot in the head.
- Out of the three main protagonists, all are killed by the end of the first season.
- A teenager falls and hits his head on a spiked board; one of the nails goes into the back of his head, killing him.
- A teenage boy has his eyes ripped out; he later slits his throat with a needle. Very graphic and bloody
