HAHAAAA! YES!

This is probably the best episode Brooklyn nine nine's put out since joining NBC, purely because it's the Halloween heist (better known as the event we all live for). Not only that, but it's the most bananas, energy fueled, twisty heist yet. Not the cutest, HalloVeen still holds that title. It was fantastically executed and hilarious the whole way. NINE NINE!!!

Every Halloween Heist were good and so was this!

Unlike last episode(Return of the king), Cinco de mayo was one of the funniest episodes where you expect the unexpected and it surely fulfilled us. I thought there won't be a heist episode this season but at the end, they made it and it's great!

Exactly what I wanted

The Halloween heist episodes have been consistently special for the whole runtime of the show. And when I had been wondering how season six was going to do one, if they were gonna do one at all. And I'm happy with this 100%, perfect, it was very good. Watch ASAP

One word: a w e s o m e

I was worried that there wasn't gonna be a heist this season, so when I heard about this episode's plot, I was relieved. Every single heist episode of this show is just awesome and so was this one. Maybe even a bit more awesome in the way how they all got really far and freaky this year. So much fun stuff happening in so little time. Especially fun to watch after the disappointment caused by last week's disastrous episode.

These Heists Episodes are ALWAYS hilarious
sexystarwarslover15 May 2019
First off, I really don't get why people hate s6 I've been loving it all so much. Secondly, I was wondering when we'd get a heist episode and this episode didn't disappoint. I'm always amazed at how they come up with these storylines and this may be one of the best, as a fan of the heist episodes I loved thi The use of all the characters even the supporting characters was so creative - Holt's husband Kevin and dog Cheddar once more are quite amusing here No spoilers but this episode is definitely one I'll be re watching.

The best episode of the season !
jules-chimon13 May 2019
This is the best episode of the season and of of the best of the show! It's fast, very funny and I already wanna watch it again! It was a crazy episode and the humor was not afraid to dig deep into the character's flaws and personalities. It turned out to be a very "friendly" episode because it put all of the cast on an equal foot. 100% perfect

Top notch! Best episode of this season and one of the top 5!
godsri77714 May 2019
One thing the B99 never fails to impress with are the heist episodes. I cannot remember many TV shows that can sustain a great running gag episode over 6 years! (Friends failed with thanksgiving sometimes) Excellent over the top plot but without being plain and guessable and right about enough twists so that you don't start losing the plot or interest. I had high expectations for heist episodes and they went above expectations. Had me laughing out loud for more than 15 minutes out of a 20 min runtime. A 1000 times better than the last episode where it was funny for a grand total of 30 seconds. The only bad thing was that I wanted even more of it! Extremely rewatchable!

Cinco de Mayo

Warning: Spoilers
Certainly not the best Halloween or heist episode, but we needed this in a spot other than October and it brought out the best in a lot of the characters.

Another solid Season 6 episode.

Worst so far
beckytherussell13 May 2019
I love this show, and it had some good gags, but this episode was just caotic and poorly done. Theyve tried to one up every heist episode and now it's just become ludicrous at the expense of the plot and any logic. The jokes werent as good as usual. Probably because they were trying to fit in all of this into an episode. Skullys brother? No thank you.

A strong episode for season six
vixxverlice31 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The Halloween heist episodes are always incredibly fun, this one is a Cinco De Mayo heist but it still packs the same punch.

Some of the episodes of this season have been lacking, the tone of the show has changed a little bit and although it's still been great, I missed episodes like these and how the show used to be.

This episode is lighthearted and funny, incredibly enjoyable and a return to the roots of the show. Only iffy thing was the pregnancy fake out by Amy, but the rest of this episode was great! No complaints other than that. I haven't been a fan of Amy's behaviour this season, especially in the last few episodes.

This episode was lots of fun and one of the best from this season so far.

N0,N0,N0. Stop making those episodes about the same topic, they're lack of everything, it's so disappointing.

Poor Editing
szhsub11 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is probably the worst episode of the series. The story was weak and the script was messy.

In season 6 overall, and in this episode in particular, Captain Holt and Charles Boyle have exponentially grown unbearably annoying and cliché of their own selves. Even Melissa Fumero (Amy Santiago) seems to be overdoing her character's signature characteristics, every, single, time.

The only actor holding it together is Terry Crews (Terry Jeffords) who is consistent and controlled making his the most likable character in this season.

This episode is particularly bad in technical aspects. It seems to have been rushed, poorly directed and with even worse editing.

In this episode, we're introduced with Norm Scully's twin brother -- one of the laziest tricks to fall back in entertainment history. If nothing else works, introduction of a twin is the way to do -- if you can pull it off, which this episode failed to do. The editing was so bad that when both "twins" were in the same room it wasn't even laughable. It was downright cringeworthy.

Congratulations to the production team for ruining their own show for a dedicated fan of slap-stick and absurd comedy like myself.

Heists keep getting worse
unrivaledraj29 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
After the first heist, they have just kept getting worse every year. There's absolutely zero logic to everything, none of the characters act like themselves, it's boring and annoying. And it just keeps getting worse every year. Terry became sergeant and doesn't tell anyone, even his own Captain doesn't know. Like seriously WTF ?
