Midseason recap

Blade Runner: Black Lotus returns for 2022 with a recap of the events so far, as told through the eyes of Office Davis.

So far the series has been jumping backward and forwards in time, but this episode plays out in chronological order. I would imagine the remainder of the season will follow on from these events. I'm looking forward to Elle learning everything about her past.

Bad choice of storytelling

Greetings from Lithuania.

While i enjoyed more or less previous episodes, and i really was involved into story, this particular episode could be summarized as a poor one due to bad storytelling. Basically they just replayed some scenes from previous episodes. Given the fact that episodes are super short, to spend most of the run time of ~20 minutes by replaying same scenes from previous episodes is not a good thing.

I will going to finish this series, like i said i enjoy it overall, but i hope they won't have any episodes like this no more, because this one was more or less the waste of time - literally.

You only need to watch the last two minutes

This episode is nothing but a shameful sham - a completely unnecessary recap of the story all along, with two minutes of development at the end. As if years have passed and we need to be reminded what happened last month??????????

Just a recap

Very little new material here, except at the end. Cut scenes from earlier episodes make up about 80% of this show. This was truly unnecessary. I fast forwarded through most of it.

Bottle episode

Apparently the contract called for 13 episodes and they only had enough money to make 12, so we get this mid-season "review" ie repeat of episodes 1-7. I fast forwarded through 90% of it once I figured out what they were doing, pretty pointless episode.
