Sex & Nudity
-
- There're some quick passing sexual references that are under detailed in nature but are usually comedic and could easily go over young viewers heads.
- Nudity is somewhat frequent in the show (usually limited to buttocks and side breasts), but is non-sexualized within the context of the show.
- Most of the nudity only involves naked stone-covered (i.e. petrified) humans that look like statues, so it's very mild. Nothing different than what you'd see in a museum or something. Not fanservice-y in any way.
- A few times naked men are on screen either for story reasons or comedic ones, but full frontal nudity is carefully and consistently avoided.
- Mild suggestive themes.
Violence & Gore
-
- Violence is very subdued and is mostly stylized fantasy battles with little to no blood. There are some comedic slapstick scenes as well.
- One character is stabbed in the chest with a spear. There's a little blood, but he survives.
- There is mild violence is present throughout the series.
- Characters use weapons (spears, katanas, guns) and fists to fight each other, but not bloody or graphic.
- In the first episode, a mysterious worldwide event turns all humans into stone; people are killed or injured when their bodies are damaged in stone form.
- A male character pokes his friend in the eyes when he realizes his crush and a young girl are naked. This is done for laughs.
- The main character is stabbed in the back of the neck, very brief and no blood.
- The villain of season three stabs a major character in the abdomen, leaving punctures through his body and causing blood to come out of his mouth. The bloodiest scene of the show.
- In a flashback, a child is seen with bruises on his face and bleeding from his mouth.
Profanity
-
- "Shit", "Ass", "Damn", "Hell", and "Dick" are all said infrequently, coupled with various childish insults.
- Very mild language.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Lots of references to the "Miracle drug" and in the first episode there is underage alcohol consumption but technically they are 3700 years old so it isn't.
- An antibiotic is referred as a "drug".
- A man tells a story about being beaten by a drunk man as a child, mentions he remembers smelling the "booze" in his breath.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- The entirety of the world is frozen in stone while remaining alive. This can be described from viewers as what seems to be a living hell for the petrified victim
- Some blood, but very mild
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- Near the end of season two, a villain is electrocuted with a makeshift stun gun. He falls to the ground and spasms before losing consciousness.
- It's implied that after raping women, a villain kills them to protect his secret.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The petrification made everyone in the world into stone. This might be a little frightening for some younger viewers, as the idea is pretty scary.
- Tsukasa's backstory is emotional, his sister lapsed into a coma and he was beaten by an older man.
