With lots of humor and excellent casting definately deserve ur 2 hour time. Show will not disappoint you rather give you what in actual life happens with people

Living in a small city of Kanpur the film is about three young aspiring guys wanting to fulfill their dreams. A Helpless lover, A Struggling lawyer & A passionate wanna be Chef sets the three different stories showcasing Love, Struggle, Emotion, Fate, Destiny & Drama. The cast is ideal Divyenndu, Aparshati Khurana & Harsh Mayar (National Award Winner) are in the leads and nailed it totally supported well by rest of the cast members. Vijay Raz is as good as always as stubborn yet caring father. Writer/Director Ashish Aryan looks promising and did a fair job. The film at first looked liked a regular small town comedy but rather it is an emotional saga picturized with every possible details closer to the reality of a middle class common people.

It's an amazing anthology representing lives of Kanpur's people. How they easily dream about going to big cities by leaving their hometown soon. Many of them successfully leave but many of them fail to do so. "Kanpuriye" is a solace to those burning hearts who failed to leave Kanpur to pursue their big dreams.

Obviously it's a hidden gem because it's really a well made movie. The drama and comedy of errors shown in this movie is somehow related all our lives.

WTF??? Such a great start, zero entertainment. Am sorry, was this supposed to be a indie or art film, then maybe my review is all wrong....my apologies. But if this was meant to be mainstream commercial movie...then it sucked big time. Utter waste of time. Pls there should be a warning about such time wasters...

The movie definitely revolves around Kanpur as the name suggests, but also has a storyline you'll be able to relate to. It isn't something that you've never come across in any of the previous Bollywood movies, but yes they've definitely tried something different this time. There are three main characters, where in the end all of them come to the bigger picture, and all of their personal livestories are brought to the limelight in such a way that all of them are somehow linked to each other.

Ashish the director & also the writer has captured some actual facts of human behaviour and especially how people of Kanpur will behave. Though the ending I felt was little incomplete but overall felt satisfied.

Depressed affair

Don't watch if you don't want to feel depressed. It's a very pessimistic view for a town. Not sure what the movie makers wanted to convey. Water effort across everything. Story is all over the place and the 3 parallel stores don't really merge except for some forced effort

Where you can laugh and feel for the characters

One of the best and well written movie i have watched..a pure cinema where content is the actual driving force and you laugh at the situation and you feel for the characters , smart use of music in the situation and music is like the cherry on the cake for some of the situations

This is another one of those made for streaming movie which is not really a movie. I watched it on hotstar as part of my subscription. Have small clips that are interesting to watch in a promo but overall movie doesn't come together. You are left wondering what was the movie about . Some good actors who are trying to do their best with a non-existent script. Big yawn!!!

DON'T MISS IT! 'Kanpuriye' which revolves around the lives of people who struggle to come in town and make a living. The movie is about that bittersweet moment in our collective lives that define who we become. Perfect light hearted comedy which definitely should have been released on big screen. Definitely deserves 2 hrs of your lives. Munna bhai did it again flawlessly. Vijay and Aparshakti both did seamlessly. Acting, direction, plot were 9/10. This movie is for all. Made under the charm of Kanpur.
